For the first time in more than 100 years– a member of the Royal family has visited Barrie.
Princess Anne was on the city’s waterfront Tuesday  afternoon inspecting a guard of honour from her regiment, the Grey and Simcoe Foresters.

She was welcomed by Mayor Jeff Lehman.

Many local residents turned out to welcome the royal visitor–including six year old Ashley Logan who presented the Princess Royal with  flowers.
