Still at a loss for words… but I’m gonna try my best to say everything I need to say, this is gonna be a long post y’all, sorry! Going into last night, I felt so lucky to be nominated, and was just hoping I could take home even one. These 4 awards all mean so much to me… Rising Star, Video of the Year, Female Artist of the Year and Album of the Year…. this is a big one. Grace & Grit was a long time in the making, the stories behind the songs and the journey it took to write them, the amazing producers I got to work with (Chad Kroeger, Chris Baseford, Justin Niebank, Vince Gill, Carly McKillip, Jeff Johnson) made this an incredible experience. My first solo record… equally the most intimidating and rewarding thing I’ve ever done. Thank you to my label @warnermusiccanada for allowing me to be me, and make this record the way I wanted to. I feel so blessed to work with such wonderful people who understand me as an artist. Thank you to my @olemajorlyindie family for giving me the opportunity to work with so many talented writers, and for helping me grow as a writer. To my agents at @feldmanagency for giving me the opportunity to do what I love and perform. To my badass director @emmaaverage for helping me make my first award-winning music video. My family and friends and fans for loving and supporting my music and enabling me to make a living off what I love. And last but not least, my amazing manager Tracey… for being one of the first to believe in me… for being fierce and for working so damn hard for me, I might be down a much different path without you. Thank you to the CMA Ontario for the honor of these awards, and congratulations to all other nominees and award-winners, you all inspire me! @thecmaontario #cmao2017 #london
