HAWKESTONE SINGERS September 10, 2015 Calling all singers. Come join our informal group of people who love to sing. We welcome new members. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Hawkestone Community Hall, 3 Allen Rd. in Hawkestone (between Barrie and Orillia, exit 11 off Highway 11). We’re a non-profit, adult community choir, who sing a varied selection of traditional and contemporary choral music, including popular hit songs. Our enthusiastic director, Tara Johnson, has selected an exciting range of music for our Christmas concert, scheduled for Saturday, November 28. The selection includes a medley of carols, an arrangement of “The Twelve Days After Christmas”, “Go Tell it on the Mountain”, and “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes”. Come join the fun, and register on September 10 from 7:00 pm for the season (September to May). For further information, call Carol Jones-Simmons at 705-722-7438, or send her an email message to Check us out on Facebook – search “Hawkestone Singers Community Choir”.
