Charges Pending For Abused Puppy
A man from Oro-Medonte is being charged with animal cruelty after an investigation from the OSPCA.
A rottweiler puppy was found brought to the SPCA with wounds all over his body. The accused reported finding the puppy on the side of the road. After a vet examination, the dog was in poor condition and was suffering severe dehydration and had unknown open flame type wounds.
The suspect is facing several charges and will be in Orillia court at the end of January.
The puppy, dubbed Leonard at the shelter, is recovering well and will be offered for adoption.
