Kudos for cub saving cops

Two OPP officers are getting credit for helping rescue an injured bear cub Monday near Bracebridge.
The pair fashioned a make-shift rescue blanket to help the injured animal along the roadside on Highway 11.
The cub had scrambled up a tree after being struck by a car.
The officers noticed it was losing its grip so they hooked a couple of safety vests together –and used that to catch the bear as it fell.
The cub has been taken to a sanctuary where it’s undergoing treatment.
