Manslaughter Charges For Barrie Man
A Barrie man is facing manslaughter charges after death of another man in July.
Brett Wicket died at the RVH after being involved in an altercation on Canada Day. A post mortem exam revealed that the cause of death was a result of blunt force trauma to the head which could lead back to the alleged assault.
37 year old Bryan Smith turned himself into police days later. Police report that both men knew each other.
