Nearly three million fire extinguishers sold in Canada, made by Kidde, are being recalled.
They can clog up and fail to work when they’re needed– and there have been cases where the nozzle flies off under pressure.
The recall covers push-button and plastic-handle extinguishers in the U.S. and Canada made from 1973 through this year.
The y are red, white and silver and were sold through retailers and also installed in in commercial trucks, R-V’s and boats.
