Written By: Tuesday, March 28th 2017

2016 saw a lot of new albums from a slew of big names like Kenny Chesney. 2017 is gonna be even bigger with pretty much every top Country Artist releasing a new or debut album.

First up:

James Barker Band – Game On

On April 21 the band will drop their first EP, Game On, via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The album will feature hits Lawn Chair Lazy, Just Sayin’ and their latest Chills. This is just the beginning for the Boots and Hearts emerging artist winners and they show no signs of slowing down anytime soon. This summer they get to tour with Keith Urban on his East coast tour.

Chris was the best kept secret in Nashville. He wrote six number-one songs including the five-week number-one “Never Wanted Nothing More” by Kenny Chesney, “Love’s Gonna Make It Alright” by George Strait, and “Come Back Song” by Darius Rucker. Over 150 of his songs have been recorded and shown up on albums by Adele, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley. His debut album Traveller was released on May 5, 2015 and was by far the best album of the year featuring songs Nobody To Blame, Parachute and Tennessee Whiskey. The album was a musical journey and he looks to follow that up when he releases his sophomore album May 5, 2017.
