UPDATE: OPP Looking for Jeep After Hit and Run
UPDATE: Police now know the make of the vehicle involved. They are looking for a 2013 or 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee with front end damage. If you’ve seen this vehicle or know anything about this incident call OPP or Crime Stoppers.
Huntsville OPP are searching for a hit and run suspect. Police say around 1 a.m. this morning (Mar. 18th) emergency crews responded to an incident on Highway 60. A pedestrian was allegedly struck by a vehicle on 60, East of Allison’s Point road in Huntsville. Officials say the driver of the vehicle failed to remain at the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital and then airlifted to a hospital in southern Ontario with serious injuries. Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have information on it are asked to call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
