Police pursue panty pilferer
For the second time this year, the La Senza store in Barrie’s Georgian Mall has been hit by an underwear thief.
Barrie police are just releasing details now after getting some surveillance video. On August 25th, a man stuffed 96 pairs of ladies undies into a bag and then walked out of the store.
Back in February a woman stole 130 pairs of underwear from the same retailer.

Barrie Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identity a suspect wanted for theft from La Senza, located within the Georgian Mall, at 509 Bayfield Street, in the City of Barrie.
It is estimated that ninety-six (96) pairs of ladies underwear were stolen from La Senza just after 12:30 p.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017. Video surveillance captured the incident and has provided police with images of the suspect swiftly removing a stack of underwear from a display table and placing them into his bag, and then exiting the store.
The investigation is ongoing.
The suspect is described as;
Thin build, 6”4’
Wearing a red bandanna, white t-shirt, dark pants, flip flops and carrying a large white bag.
