Teachers Reject Colleges Latest Offer
Written By: Thursday, November 16th 2017

After two days of voting, full and part time staff have rejected the latest offer from the colleges.

It was an 86% vote to reject the offer.

Kathleen Wynne released a statement after the results came in saying “students have been in the middle of this strike for too long and it’s not fair”. No word yet on if the province is going to issue back to work legislation, but she will be meeting with both sides in hopes of coming to an agreement.

Meanwhile hundreds of students across the province, including Georgian, are expected to hold a sit in in the hallways of their schools this afternoon.
