Winter Festivals In KICX Country
January 28th- Bracebridge Fire & Ice Festival
Fire features will include fire artist as well as fire pits throughout the Downtown. “ICE” features will include interactive ice displays, a downtown tube run and a new skating trail, located in Memorial Park. In addition, there will be Winter “try-it” activities, road hockey tournament and traditional carnival activities to complement the event. A souvenir button will be your passport to fun. $5 per adult, $3 per child ages 6 – 12 and free for kids 5 and under.
February 4th- Midland Winterfest
Activities include a polar bear dip, snowmobile rides, puddle jump, lumberjack show, dogsled rides, wagon rides, games for children, hockey & basketball tournaments, “Seniors Got Talent”, spelling bee, toboggan races and so much more – something for everyone!
February 4th & 5th- Barrie Winterfest
Ice sculptures, lumberjack shows, maple taffy making, snow sculptures, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and fat bike demos, polar dip and so much more.
February 11th- Orillia Winter Carnival
The Orillia Winter Carnival and Winterrific in Downtown Orillia is BACK and bigger than ever! Couchiching Beach Park will transform into a spectacular winter wonderland complete with a midway, giant ice castle, obstacle course and much more! Get a hot meal in our food tents, take a ride down Mount Mississauga (a giant ice slide down the main street that’s sure to thrill), try your hand at ice fishing or bring your skates for some pond hockey! February 18th- Penetanguishene Winterama

February 18th-25th- Gravenhurst Winter Carnival
Enjoy snowmobile radar runs, helicopter rides, live country music from the Rob Watts Band, bed racing, monster trucks, arm wrestling competitions, polar dip and more!
